STANDING STRONG: A book by Zach Thomas is a suspense thriller novel. The cover and the title are indeed eye catching. In the starting of the book author wrote two special quotes which are as follows. First one is “Any fool can be happy. It takes a man with real heart to make beauty out of the stuff makes us weep – Clive Barker.” And the second one as follows “With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion – Steven Weinberg.” Chapter one of the novel begin as Orrin James stands behind the pulpit, that Sunday, and prepares to deliver his letter of resignation as senior pastor of Jerusalem Baptist Church.
Even so, the story is an important one as it highlights the relationship between Native oppression and the extractive industries. In acknowledging the non-Native allies who stood alongside the Native protesters, the novel builds a bridge between communities, reminding readers that we are all affected by the damage being done to the Earth.
And at the end the story reaches that Author thinks if his parents choose to fully understand the extremity of what happened to himself, they would have to thoroughly question all they believe to be true. If they have someone who’s dealing with trauma from hazing, bullying, or whatever. Always be there for them. And at the end author says that be open minded and be fully accepting of all that unfolds before you.
The Novel is unique and hope you loved the way it’s being presented. The cover is eye catchy and may you love the Author’s effort put to imagine the life difficult situations.

edit biographydeleteBiographyHello kind reader, my name is Zach Thomas. I am 29 years old and I'm the author of three books; two of which are on the Amazon marketplace. I have written since I was five years old but got serious with it once I turned eighteen. I finished my first book at nineteen and it was crap but a honest first attempt at a novel. Then while at a community college in the local area I wrote my second book, The Joy Thief. This was a book I wrote to pass the boring hour and a half that was my creating writing class that was three levels long. Honestly, I didn't learn a damn thing I didn't already know. The third book which is my longest to date I started writing at the age of 24 and did not finish till a month before my 28th birthday. It was the hardest to write but also the most exciting because it tells of redemption from a damning incident that should have never occurred but did nonetheless. It was the book I decided to share in the writing process with my fiancee because he has had my back unconditionally for the past six years and this one would have been impossible without his help and his structural criticism. This was the book where I pulled all the stops out and proclaimed my views bravely and unashamed. This is the one for those who have been hazed or battled suicidal thoughts and is my way of telling them they're not alone for together we are stronger and we are one. This is also the book where I embrace all those in the LGBTQ+ community and to tell you that you are loved. Lastly, I was born in a small southern town that no-one knows about unless you're from around here and I've always been a dreamer and my dream has always been to become a best-selling novelist.
