Vodka Vagina Vanity - Tales of The Absurd REVIEW

BOOK REVIEW

📚𝐵𝑂𝑂𝐾 𝑁𝐴𝑀𝐸:- ❞𝐕𝐨𝐝𝐤𝐚, 𝐕𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐚, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐕𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲: 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐛𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐝.❞ 👨‍🦱𝐴𝑈𝑇𝐻𝑂𝑅 𝑁𝐴𝑀𝐸:- 𝐕𝐢𝐤𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐃𝐡𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧 🌌𝑴𝒀 𝑹𝑨𝑻𝑰𝑵𝑮𝑺:- 𝟓/𝟓 🌟 𝑹𝑬𝑽𝑰𝑬𝑾:- It's like reinvented glitz and glamor, a suspense mystery that turns fiery and destructive in a subdued way. With a dash of redemptive love story in the alluring and devastating backdrop of 1991's Leningrad; today, the city is known as St. Petersburg. I felt that the title of the novel itself was the epitome of absurdity, but people convinced me to read this because it's fun and a mystery. So I hesitantly picked it up. Whatever I would say wouldn't match what I experienced throughout this book; it was completely breathless, exquisitely narrated in third person. It's a compact read of historical fiction, spy thriller, and mystery along with a plot style that never slows down the pace and mystery. A Bollywood diva, Sherry, is turned vengeful by agony of betrayal and comes to publish an autobiography. All the who's who of the country felt their hair rising on their nape. They know what she was going to write. She is determined to take her last bait. Sherry set aside her own life and peace in order to finish what was abhorrent to her. Four big people of the country are ready to do whatever it needs to stop Sherry from her retribution and on the other hand, our Miss Sherry intends to do it playfully and very dutifully. She begins to start planning her plot. I enjoyed how the author created our Femme Fatale, Shelly's debonair is quirky, strong, and ostentatiously attractive. Twist and suspense are lurking in every chapter. Every chapter is shuttered with a mystery. I relished the book since the author blended it with the mystery of KGB, the capital city Leningrad renamed St. Petersburg, the grotesque incidents. I wouldn't mind a pinch of historical fiction and spy thriller though. But that was a part and the actual story revolves around Sherry, Irina, Wasim, Vikram, and every character unfolded here beautifully and gradually. Every character is rooted with the main plot perfectly.

What is awaiting in the next chapter? It's a serious question I was struggling with that wouldn’t let me put the book down. Will Sherry be successful in her revenge? But how she will make it happen? To know this you have to read the book. I recommend it to all who love reading glamourous suspense and mystery stories, I would say it is an ultimately sizzling, dishy thriller.
